Greatest Elvis Impersonator Of All Time Charlie Franks

The Ultimate Experience
Traveling across the country I have had the honors of seeing impersonators and have always been intrigued by the way they must spend countless hours practicing and choreographing there show. A few have disappointed and I have walked away realizing that we wasted our money on a person or persons that were not prepared nor were they talented enough to make anyone believe for even a second that they sounded like the original artist.
Recently I had the honors of seeing a show that not only captivated my attention but was amazed when he approached the stage ,started singing and thought for the entire time that not only was I seeing Elvis, but I was listening to Elvis too. It was just like moving through a time machine, the only thing different was that I was to young when Elvis was alive to see the man himself, but this time I was placed into a time warp and I honestly believed that I had seen the man in person, live on stage and had quite a memorable time.
About Charlie Franks From An Audience Perspective
Charlie Franks has been impersonating Elvis since he has been a young boy, not only can he impersonate Elvis with precision he can also impersonate over 100 other celebrities. He is passionate about his work and his following is quite large as his fans continue to grow.
Briefly taking the time to sit and speak with him, I was intrigued by his mannerisms and sense of humor. He was as sincere off stage as he as when he impersonated Elvis on stage. In the years that many of us have seen an Elvis impersonator , Elvis would have been proud knowing that someone was able to walk in his shoes not only by impersonation but also by looks.

We had one give a few shows at a place were I cooked. Back then I thought I was too cool for Elvis. What a fool I was, as now I know, Elvis Rocked. He must have been something because all the women were sweating and exasperated after the show.
Is he really singing, or miming?
What great fun!! Yippee!! Wait till Janetta gets here you might have her panties hanging on the YouTube window!! LOL!!
Aha, so Elvis hasn't left the building after all! He's good, AE!
Imitation is the best form of flattery, true, but ... there will never ever be another Elvis Presley. :)
I used to do a pretty mean "Young Elvis" when I was young too. The "Jailhouse Rock" Elvis and not the "Suspicious Minds, or Vegas" Elvis. I would love to see a good impersonator. I have always been not only and Elvis fan, but a fan of impersonators as well. I can tell you were impressed, and as you noted, there's nothing worse than seeing a bad impersonator. Fun hub!
I'd love to see Chris shake his hips!!! I'd throw my special undies at him!!
Candie I am shocked you would think such a thing! I don't wear panties!!--oh my tmi...
Charlie - if you read this you can reach Janetta at 1-8xx-4ca-ndie I will give her the message. LOL!
woohoo just bring smelling salts to revive me if i pass out when he starts singing to me
I'm not going to use smelling salts on her.. let her pass out, I'm going home with Charlie!
Maybe PM should do an "Elvis" show for Frieda.. bet that would be a hub and a half to read!!
Hi Charlie! (small stab at impressing him) LOL!! *fluffing my hair*
I just love elvis. I did a blog about him on his birthday. This guy's pretty good. Thanks for sharing AE.
Gosh I just hope it doesn't go into the spam folder.. I'd better watch for it! Not like I have any other life *sniff* or things to do *sniff* but wait by my inbox *sniff* gone are the days of waiting by the phone *sniff*.. I'd better pull myself together, it's my birthday!!!
AE I had to hang back with all you girls getting hot and bothered about poor Charlie.. He does a terrific job on the impersonation.
A few years back we went to see an impersonator from America called Max Pellicano and we both thought he was good. But I think your Charlie may be better.
My husband is a huge fan of Elvis (so am I). We will look on his web site to see if he'll perform close to our area. Great hub!
He is wonderful!!! Sexy too!!! I hope that he can come to my area of the country one day.
Handsome he is and WOW what a voice!!! I am looking forward to seeing him in person.
