Murdered: Aliahna Lemmon Little Girl Lost

Watching the World News and Nancy Grace it sickened me when I heard that a 9-year old little girl in Fort Wayne, Indiana was murdered by a family friend. Aliahna Lemmon was an innocent young girl with a future ahead of her. Tragically her little life was cut short by 39-year old Mike Plumadore on Dec. 22, 2011. How did he manage to befriend this family and place his clutches around 3 young girls? It has been reported that the manufactured home park they reside in is known as "sex offender haven." How can someone take an innocent life? It is also reported that 9-year old Aliahna Lemmon was partially blind also suffered hearing loss. Why would he hit her across the head with a brick? None of the neighbors heard a young child screaming? Or did he cover her mouth so her voice was silenced? Why did he chop her lifeless little body into pieces and keep her head, arms and feet in his refrigerator? Dumping the rest of her remains in a dumpster? Did he believe that was a reminder of who she was and that he would not get caught? Dumping the rest of her remains would hide what he really did?
Many of us cannot grasp why this happens, nor understand what goes on in a predators mind. This is one of the worse crimes that ended 2011. An innocent child excited about Christmas brutally murdered and dismembered by a family friend. Scouring through Facebook I ran across a couple of pages that referenced him. The Country is angry. Angry at the laws, angry that more cannot be done about protecting our children. Stricter laws need to pass to protect our children. When does the evil end? He should get what he gave to Aliahna Lemmon she did not deserve to be bludgeoned to death and dismembered.
It has also been reported that he sexually assaulted a 13-year old girl, but that case had been dismissed. Wonder why that happened? Lack of evidence? Maybe.
Sadly Aliahna's family is grieving over their little girl lost all due to Mike Plumadore, a very sick individual who committed a heinous crime preying on an innocent family.
Little Girl Lost
Mommy was sick I trusted in him, everyone thought he was a family friend. Three days before Christmas Santa was near, we would be home soon nothing to fear. Me and my sister's were staying with Mike and all I wanted to do was ride my bike. He did things to me, I could not tell, he told me if I say anything I would go to Hell. What is Hell? I do not know, but I suffered a terrible blow. He grabbed a brick and crushed my skull. I watched from above as he took my body apart, saving my head, my legs and my arms. Why would he do such a bad thing to me? I loved my sisters', my mommy and my friends. But now my time on earth has came to an end. I am loved here and embraced by the light ,although I suffered a terrible plight. Mommy will miss me and my sissy's will to, but I will see them again one day on the other side.
I don't know what had me write those words as my pen could not stop writing. But this is for Aliahna Lemmon. Although her life was cut short by Mike Plumadore another child will not be forgotten. Another little angel with beautiful wings sits and waits patiently as the Angels sing.

Adult men who display a abnormal amount of interest in children should set off alarm bells! This happens time and again, and quite often, the children never talk about it, so the pedophile gets away with it.
We are very careful in choosing a mechanic to work on our cars, but then hand our kids over to anyone!
This case was very sad. You don't really know who you can trust anymore. According to the papers, he didn't have a past history of pedophelia. There was nothing to indicate that he was a horrible monster. The saving grace is that he confessed and didn't prolong the family's agony. It's also a good thing that Indiana has a death penalty.
Cardisa: Being a mom this one has shook me to the core. I do not understand. It is not sitting well within me and his face like he does not have a care in the world makes my skin crawl! People think I am overprotective but I really do not care. This one is just to much for me. :(
WillStarr: This one sets off another alarm with me. Why did the mom allow them to go? I know she was ill, but where was grandma, sister, brother? Anybody besides him. Seeing this little girl's face hurts so bad. I should not hurt to be a child. They are to be loved, cared for and treated with TLC. Her story is heartbreaking.
Cassie Smith: I hope he gets the death penaly, but rumor does have it that he assaulted a 13-year old girl and the case was dismissed. There are also looking into other murders but those have not been confirmed yet. It is all to sad.
I am not quite calmed down but I am back. I can't tell you what I want to do to this guy because HP would ban me! But, my sensitivity maybe linked to the fact that I don't and can't bear kids, so it's like every child is my own. I read something like this and it's like a nightmare I can't seem to wake up from. How can people be so wicked?

This sick man should not be allowed to live in prison for the rest of his life and lethal injection is too good for him. He should be placed in a room with all of the loving caring parents in the town he is from and let them take care of him. What was this mother thinking? Isn't this stuff on the news enough for her to trust this monster with that sweet little girl?

justateacher: Those were my thoughts too. Or simply an eye for an eye. It plays over and over in my mind, like a broken record. I think bringing the city together could change some laws.But then again all of those parents would end up in jail and pay in return. Justice will be served and I believe he will get his in the end.

As a mother and nana, I am a person of heightened compassion; however, when it comes to the subject of these types of crimes against those who are quite defenseless, I have no compassion. If a person(s)takes away a life of a child, their life should be lifeless immediately. I had not heard about this story, we've had a story here in Kansas City still unsolved and many suspect the parents, but there's no proof. These stories are not uncommon, but they are sad and depressing, disgusting and every negative adjective there is. I can't even handle hearing about details, not when it comes to children.

A Psychopath has no concept of other people having feelings,needs,or even being alive;they view the rest of us the same way they would a magazine full of photos.Their concern is self satisfaction regardless of others.They are the lowest of the low who prey on children because they are cowards as well.The recidivism rate for pedophiles is in the high 90 percentile,there seems to be no cure.
Laws don't deter these scum;we need better ways of identifying them early on,and a deeper understanding of their methods.This problem must be nipped in the bud at the very beginning of the psychopathic pedophiles development.Sorry for the long post but children and animals are the true innocents of this sewer of a world IMO.

Blame Liberal Democrats! Down here in Texas we are installing conveyor belts to kill these sick and twisted freak of natures faster! Stricter laws? How much stricter than this is wrong do we need! What we need is a bunch of judges and candy assed citizens to have guts enough to use the DEATH PENALTY! FEAR is a deterrent to crime! Heart-breaking that this happens EVERYDAY in the United States! When will it all stop? Why can parents not trust others to watch their children because this may happen? It has to stop somewhere and maybe Aliahna is where. Make a point with the life of this low-life, who has preyed on little girls for years! Make him die slowly and let others know this is what REAL Americans do to people who hurt children.
I'm a middle of the road liberal and I have no problem with every state having the death penalty for these types of crimes.

American Romance: I believe that all states should impose a death penalty. Texas and Indiana have that thank goodness. I do not know how many other states have it, but the laws need to be changed. This little girl runs through my mind everyday, because I DON'T understand why.

He is a tyrant and should get all that he deserves. Her life taken without any reason and she could not even defend herself.

My mother was overprotective and good for her! When Mom saw an adult male take too much interest in me as a little girl, her radar went off and refused to let me stay over at his home with his children. He was very upset and never spoke to her again. He did have mental issues by the way.

VioletSun: Obviously he is criminally insane. My mom was overprotective to and U thank God for that! Parents are also responsible for who they give their children too. When my niece went to her dad's, there was a weirdo on FB. oy I sounded off and he is not gone! The should not allow them on FB either. We have to constantly police our children to protect them. They may get upset, but when they are grown they will realize why we did it. You can bet that Aliahna's family will never lose site of their 2 other daughters again.

I dunno what the deal is with these kinds of cases. I'm going to venture a guess though - it's male frustration at having virtually NO control over women....so they take it out on one that's too young, and weak to do anything about it.

I agree with Wes completely. This is why I don't watch TV and stay away from news. Even at the top of reading this hub, I was tempted to click away and not read the entire story. Of course "innocent until proven guilty" is correct.
I'd seriously doubt that someone could or would plant a child's body parts in another person's refrigerator....but then again that is something that could happen.
In any case....I'm just against the death penalty. If someone was every caught "red handed" in something like this - then I'd hope that that person would just end the life of the person ASAP, and spare us all the rest of it.
I can't support the death penalty - a state has no business executing it's citizens....and I'm not into police violence either.
I'd not have made a good cop. Were I a cop involved with this sort of case, and had the gut feeling that the guy was THE guy....hell, there's worse things to lose a career over than killing someone...
In reading the comments to this hub, I find myself nodding in agreement as I also wipe away tears and try to calm my gut from twisting. I had been following this case and was deathly afraid it would end tragically as the majority of child-abductions do. In fact, this precious Aliahna looked so much like Zahara Baker,(close in age and both with handicaps) the cases were very similar. Zahara was killed by her lunatic step-mother. There is so much wrong with the entire picture here, it's impossible to know where to begin. I have literally stated the words of "American Romance"...the sick bastard who might lay a finger on one of my beloved babies would need have no fear of the law. It wouldn't get that far. If the State chose to lock me up for saving them time and money & by ridding the world of scum, hey, that's cool. No problem. And to Wes: Hell, I'd like to be a cop expressly FOR the purpose of being the first to get my hands on these demented pedophiles. Can we all say, "Charles Bronson?" Wesman Todd Shaw: It was placed on my heart to write about it, although it was tough to write. The truth is some type of law has to be passed so that the predators understand the reprecussion of their actions. The story was so horrific for me, that I could not rest. I realize it was a hard read but reality is these actions have to stop. I hope a bill can be passed in her name.
Debby Bruck: I honestly don't know where the words came from. I was creating this hub and then I had to actually pick up a pen and begin to scribble the words. They went on to actually paper in 5 minutes. It was so odd and I had to share it. Could be the angels that try to get her voice heard. I didn't want others to think I was peculiar so I had to write larger words for understanding. This little girl has touched my heart and I only want her voice to be heard. What he did was horrific and there is no turning back. I hope he receives the maximum punishment for the crime he has committed.

Oh God! Every time something like this happens it send me into shock. I am writing with tears in my eyes. They should send this Mike guy to me and I will deal with him! I must come back when I am calmer.
