72
Filled with picturesque mountains, breathtaking burnt-orange and deep purple sunsets, along with warm weather, millions of visitors every year flock to Arizona. If you are looking for a little bit of European ambiance, enchantment among the Red Rocks or a little bit of adventure; Arizona resorts are hosts to some of the best romantic getaways in the Southwestern part of the Country. To celebrate Arizona's 100th Birthday this year, I decided to share three of the most Romantic getaways I have had the honors of staying in. The best time to stay is September through March, there are less visitors and better room choices. Summer is peak-time and the rates tend to rise a little due to vacationing families, weddings and events.
Nestled at the foot of Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mountelucia Resort & Spa is a luxury resort that offers a tranquil and romantic escape from everyday living. If you are looking to be pampered, play a little golf, enjoy a little nightlife or anticipate a scrumptious dining experience for two, Montelucia Luxury Resort & Spa is the ultimate romantic destination. Offering sweet romantic getaway packages for two or other spring specials, once you book a room at the Montelucia you will go back again and again.
Enjoy the beauty of the Red Rock Mountains? With 360-degree views of beautiful red rock mountains by day and twinkling stars at night, Sedona Cathedral Hideaway bed and breakfast was rated #1 in 2010 for the Best Romantic Getaway in the World! Cuddle up with your sweetheart next to your own personal fireplace or relax in the Whirlpool tub for two. Having to book ahead, Sedona Cathedral Hideaway is a tranquil sanctuary that is worth the drive for a romantic getaway for two.
Ready for adventure? The Nautical Beachfront Resort is the only resort in Lake Havasu, Arizona that sits on the beachfront and hosts its own private boat ramp with direct access to the lake. Serene, relaxing with plenty of sunshine the Nautical Beachfront Resort also has an 18-hole golf course and fine dining. Friendly staff, and beachfront suites are the perfect setting for romance anytime of the year.
There are many resorts, bed and breakfast and romantic getaways in Arizona. It is all about choice, where you would like to be or stay. If you are looking to stay in town, travel up north or journey to the London Bridge the three that are listed are recommended. You will find friendly staff, immaculate rooms and plenty of rest and relaxation. Rates are easy on the pocket and occasionally, you will find specials and free additional nights. Food service is excellent and the food is superb! If you are booking a romantic getaway for two at the Montelucia, Sedona Cathedral Hideaway or The Nautical Beachfront Resort, getting away for the weekend at any of the three will be a romantic getaway for two that both of you will enjoy and treasure for a lifetime. Come and enjoy what Arizona has to offer.

I love Sedona. I took the train to Az from Ca and fell in love with Sedona and the painted desert. Here is a link to a really good book... along those line... http://www.amazon.com/Night-Falls-Darkly-Shadow-eb
I like to read sci/fi fantasy but picked this up thinking it was historical and ... oh my... it was.. and very good too.
Concise but effective AEvans. Not too bad for a trip for those lovebirds. Wondering if they have packages on the net...which I think they might. Business is business. Thanks for the Info.

Very interesting, sound like perfect getaways for romantic weekends.
Interesting travel article.
Will visit Arizona someday. Perhaps for honeymoon. LOL
I would love it out there Julianna, My brother lived in Scottsdale for 35 years and he always talked about how different it was from the east coast. Me and a Lilith Eden, a hubber also, just published a book called "Treaseur In Your Backyard" that just came out three days ago. It's all about how to find treasure with a metal detector. I've been using metal detectors for 40 years so I know what I'm talking about when I say I would love to spend some time out there searching old gold mines and ghost towns.
He warned me amany times though, a city boy like me wouldn't last too long out in the boonies what with the weather extremes, the rattlesnakes, and all I'd have to do was wake up in the middle of the night with a tarantula sitting on my chest and I'd be east bound and down in minutes.:-)
Good hub Kiddo, I'll keep that Sedona Cathedral in mind,Sounds like a cool place. Hey, ya never know right?
Seeya...
Ooh... The Sedona Cathedral Hideaway sounds particularly lovely. Thanks!
If ever I come to Arizona I'll be sure to check these out. Happy 100th Arizona!
Sounds lovely. I hope to visit some day. I hear/read a lot of good stuff about Arizona.
Great information. I've seen pictures of Sedona and it's absolutely breathtaking.
I need a holiday now! lol! all these sound great to me, just a short break would do, thanks for sharing, nell
So you are a 'zoner too my spidey senses detect or were? I can vouch for all as great choices, but Cathedral Rock is the most choice of the trio. The redrock in Sedona is stunning, I performed three weddings as a minister in Sedona over the years, and Jerome is nice too. Great recommendations AE.
Just folks should be prepared what happens in Sedona, rarely just stays in Sedona. Giggle hardy..har har...Keep on Hubbing. Blake4d

Wow I am so ready for any one of those but the Sedona Cathedral Hideaway sounds like the place for me. It has been over 10 years since we have had a vacation and this sounds like so much fun, and relaxing. I could even be enticed to leave my computer at home. Talk about separation anxiety. I might go into withdrawals.
