Opening Speech
It has been a pleasure creating a hub that contained 200 new hubbers that had been chosen by the masses to be nominated for this year's top New Hubbers' for 2009. The e-mails poured in, the response was amazing! Having to create a file, calculate and re-calculate the votes although exhausting was worth every last e-mail that was received. I wish to thank each and every hubber who participated and helped me create this special hub. I also wish to thank the people who assisted me behind the scenes with locating each and every special link, to each and every individual hubber, you know who you are and I Thank you! Envelope please ,listed are the new hubbers' who were chosen in each category and they are numbered based on votes. Happy New Year's to everyone and give a hand to the hubbers listed on this hub, and to each nominee all of you have a special place in history on hub pages. Congratulations to all!

This was one of the most complicated calculations I had to contend with, there were so many unique avatars on hubpages. The e-mails kept coming and the numbers were so close I was actually on the edge of my seat anticipating the outcome. I had multiple e-mails coming and hubbers were asking who or what was the most unique avatar chosen by everyone. I love keeping secrets so here is the most unique avatar from a new hubber voted by your peers and the winner is,

The Number One New Hubber Of 2009
This new hubber has only been here for seven months , not only has she been leaving an impact on others with her charm , grace and sense of humor she also is quite professional and is loved by her peers on and off the forums. I had more e-mails about the number one hubber then I ever believed I would recieve, they came from senior hubbers to new hubbers. The peers voted and I calculated!

Closing Speech
Creating the top 200 was exhilarating! Just like you I had to wait with anticipation and calculate votes that were coming in, I had an out-pour of e-mails begging for answers but I have always loved keeping secrets and making people happy! I hope that all of you enjoyed these two hubs as much as I enjoyed creating them. Hub pages has came a long way and they are going to continue to go far, just remember the rules each and everyone of you are a star on hubpages, continue to read other people's hubs , looking for the diamonds along the way and Congratulations, here is to a wonderful 2010!
Always, always remember if you are not on the top 200 list does not make you less then someone else all of you are wonderful hubbers in our book , it would have been to complicated to list a few 100,000.

I am so happy for all of the winners chosen, but I'm especially proud of Holle (you know her as Habee). We have been close friends for many years and it was she who talked me into trying my hand at writing. She was right and I was wrong (for once) and I was flattered to be among the nominees.
But payback is always hell. I was responsible for telling her about Hubpages and what a great place it was. So I win after all. Congratulations and well deserved accolades to the winners.
