Everybody's Crazy Bout A Sharp Dressed Man
Men go nuts when they see women in lingerie, there eyes pop out amongst other things, so to many of us women lingerie is to men, what suits are to women.Jeans and T-shirts are warm and inviting , men tend to be in there comfort zone when they slip them on, however there is something captivating about a man when he wears a suit, well groomed and polished a woman's imagination is stirred by her inner desires when he walks into a room noticing every detail from head to toe and nudging her girlfriend asking, " Is he wearing Giorgio or Valentini? Some of us enjoy the man who wears the double-breasted suit and others enjoy the man who wears the single-breasted suit, paying close attention to his nail beds and demeanor when he moves, consciously taking a whiff of his cologne as he passes by. What is it that makes a woman stop and take a second look? He could be a robust man, a thin man, or an average size man, he could be strikingly handsome or simply plain but when he puts that suit on he becomes the knight in shining armor. Women do not care what the man looks like when he grooms himself paying close attention to every last detail, his shoes being well polished, hair in place women will take a second look when he steps in there path.
Fred Astaire
Born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1899 Fred Astaire was a talented actor, singer and dancer who wore double breasted suits and button down collars.Quite the traditional yet conservative character who wore his suits very tastefully. Fred Astaire comes in at my number #10 spot as he wore his suits with dignity and class.
.
Yul Brynner
Yul Brynner Born July 11,1920 was russian born and was better known for his deep voice and shaven head. He certainly still looked good in tux and tails. They certainly do not make them like that anymore, or do they? He comes in at #9 who could look better in tux with a shaven head?
Antonio Banderas
Born on August 10, 1960 Antonio Banderas is a hot spot at #8 who looks better in a colorful jacket and shirt. Scrumpdilicious in my book.
Born May 06,1961 yes we just missed his birthday he certainly wears that tux well doesn't he? Double Breasted with a bow tie, who does it better. He is definitely #7 on the best dressed list after all he does seem to make the lists often.
Brad Pitt puts a entire new meaning in the word suit, you can dress him up or dress him down he certainly wears anything he puts on well. Born December 18,1963 Angelina sure did get a great catch. He is number #6 on the best dressed list as he defintely knows how to wear a nice leisurely suit without a tie.
Born Nov 11,1974 Leonardo Di Caprio is an actor and film producer and we will never forget the hot love scene in the Titanic. He is quite sophisticated yet rugged in his double-breasted suit and tie. Counting down to number #5 I wonder what type of cologne he had on with that suit?
.
Giorgio Armani not only a fashion designer but one of the best dressed men of all time, as you can see he dresses the stars. Giorgio Armani is a very humble man who was born into a very humble family. Gentleman if you have one of Arman's suits in your closet you are a lucky man.He is my number #4 pick everyone needs a designer and what would we do without them?
GianaCarlo Giametti President of Valentino fashion house is another man who dress exquisitely he can wear a suit like no other. How many men can put color on besides Antonio Banderas and carry like it is worth a million bucks? He is number #3 on the list as his suits are beautifully tailored and designed.
Born December 4th, 1969 is an American hip-hop artist and businessman who came from a housing project in New York and rose to fame. Certainly a man who knows how to dress when he is out on the town. Number #2 on the list as it takes the designer's to create the clothes for the stars. He has certainly picked a great one.
Born Aug 4,1961 Barrack Obama carries himself eloquently and with strength, his suits are perfectly tailored and the color choices are impeccable. Some may like him, some may not however he is number #1 on the list for the best dressed man in a suit and tie. I wonder who his designer is?
So you see , it isn't about your size, your color, or who you are men just simply look scrumptious in suits. Maybe it is a power thing, maybe a sexual thing but a man in a suit is the best eye candy a woman could look at. Just like ZZ top sang "everybody's crazy bout a sharp dressed man.:

Like the ZZ Top song.."Gonna go crazy for a sharp-dressed man!" It changes the way a man moves. I'm a jeans/tee shirt on my guy-kinda girl most of all!
AEvans I look much better In a suit then lingerie . I will send you a pic to post with these guys !
hmmm, you saw me in my suit as the look alike for daddy warbucks. what did you think of that one, the one with my little blond neice on my lap. Nice choices here an I agree with them all.
I,ll see If I can dig one up . But I like to bust out one of my suits for occasions ,even Susan does,nt roll her eyes at me as much as usual ! And Fred Astaire was cool I love the old movies !
Good point about women enjoying a man in a suit . . . funny thing, though, how our world has become so casual and few men wear suits . . . there are many work places which no longer require it . . . the one style I like is slacks, button down shirt and sport jacket or suit jacket worn on top - it's fitting for meetings in casual and dressy places.
Yul Brynner and Antonio Banderas...ahhh!!! I am getting all hot and bothered already! Its funny you wrote this fantastic hub,,you and I must be on the same page. I just finnished the 2nd part to one of my hubs and there is a Sharp Dressed man in the story....good hub girl!!
There's no doubt that I like your taste when it comes to men, but I have to admit, I am a sucker for the casual look. Nice Jeans or Dockers and a button down shirt can be sexy. I think Men are sexy when they look more relaxed, I don't think I have seen to many men look relaxed in a suit. Great Hub, I enjoyed the pics.
Spot on!
AEvans: My ex, always, always dressed sharply and smelled delicious, his job required it as he worked and still does for a major TV personality; he is so gorgeous and well dressed that even Diane Sawyer flirted with him, but he is an alcoholic, and emotionally abusive. My current lifemate is very casual, jeans and polos, not into fine dressing, and yet he is the sexiest man I have met, very kind and accepting; I prefer this over an Armani suit. Enjoyed your hub!
AEvans...My husband so rarely wears a suit that I definitely take notice and swoon at the very sight of him.
Great topic. Great read
I love the transformation of a man in a suit, :) great Hub, AE!
Yeah , men in suits, have an air of presence about them. yumyum
As long as it's not a man in a white suit walking towards me with a straight jacket - then fine, send 'em on !
I'm with Iphi -- as long as they're not trained professionals about to arrest me, put me in an institution, or serve me papers, then hell, yeah!
AE: Good to know...I'm taking notes. What you say rings real truth. I've had jobs where I had to wear shirt, and tie...only. And ones where I could go casual, and ones that required some kind of uniform. When I had one that was required to were a suit everyday...I started noticing that I was getting more respect, as I ran through check-out lines after work or ordering for lunch, etc.
Some real hot guys there. Yeah guys do look really good in suits. I love the tux.
I reckon I'm getting my siut on more often now. Look out penguins. LOL
yeah...I am waiting Ralwus!!!!
Suits are great...... but give me a man in a uniform, any day...
I need a new suit, and I am but poot poet ( sigh....one day! Then again, I can always go on a crash diet and get back into my uniform.
Yul Brynner...ah, if only I was born sixty years earlier!
This was a great compilation and I agree - a suit and a little grooming do wonders for a man. They are so lucky - we have to manicure, pedicure, exfoliate, dye, cut, curl, style, shave and tweeze. Not to mention "putting on our face" and then try to squeeze into body shapers and pantyhose and back-breaking heels just to be passable enough to walk into a room with one of them in a simple suit! :)
lol Poot!...and now it's to late to edit. *walks away cursing the keyboard for putting the R next to the T*
The thing you forgot to mention about suits vs. lingerie is that while both are attractive and niether are particularly comfortable to wear as a general rule, wearing a suit requires the commitment of hours upon hours, where lingerie is rarely on longer than a few minutes.
Yes, I am compulsively obtuse. :D
Fun hub, great idea.
AE - love those men - in their suits of course :D Great choice! Now if only I could convince my husband to wear one more often *sigh*
Yul Brynner in a tux? Wow! Somehow I can only imagine him in his 'The King and I' avatar. And is his picture not here or am I the only one who can't see it?
yeah..
Although a Captain by night the Art wears a suit by day in his duldrum job in an office, jeeeez the fantasy of the Wild Imagination is such a better life. Nice hub AE !
I loved that you included Clooney. He's my all time favorite and if you had included several large pictures of him, this would be the perfect hub!
i wear a tie while writing naked, how does that "suit" you?
I am smiling and wearing nothing more than a tie!
I own one suit, a very nice suit, I think. I wish men could wear suits more often like we used to. I have a job interview tomorrow and that's a good reason to wear my suit ;-)
The bewitching suit...only on sundays lol
Good to know AE.Yeah, suits and tuxedos have always gotten a significantly exceptional response.
But when I lived in Hawaii, I wore only a pair of shorts for over three years (unless I rode the bus, they required a shirt), and I got plenty of attention. However, I was surfing constantly and in primo shape...I found out that many women love strong backs and big shoulders.
Another commendable hub, AE. Always precise and to the point of the topic. There is always something fascinating about a man, who is well dressed and groomed. A hub that is definitely on point.
Oh there is nothing like a hunky man in a suit. Drool drool.
Here's an idea . . . what are some of the deeper reasons that a woman is attracted to a man in a suit? Does it create a sense of mystery, personality?
Suits are seriously hawt, they're an icon of power and confidence.
"there eyes pop out amongst other things" haha!
Don, if the suit fits the man well and he carries himself well, it lends him an aura of presence, power, and some degree of wealth. Respectability. Ability to provide the finer things in life - not of interest because we women are materialistic, so much as the fact that we evaluate men on a primal level. "What kind of mate / father would he make?" is the subconscious evaluation. She needs stability and provision for herself and her family. A current show of some measure of wealth / ability to provide nice things for himself means at least the basic necessities will likely be provided for her (and any children) in the future. And yes, when he meets these criteria, as well as other more personal preferences, he's sexy to us.
Great hub AEvans. Even though my work and social life very rarely requires it I always make sure I have a nice suit.
I'm going to Neiman Marcus today to pick up some shoes. I should stop by and check out the suits. The difference between cheap suits and good one's is soooo huge.
"They are so lucky - we have to manicure, pedicure, exfoliate, dye, cut, curl, style, shave and tweeze. Not to mention "putting on our face" and then try to squeeze into body shapers and pantyhose and back-breaking heels"
Let's go over your list for the sake of accuracy:
Manicure - I'm sure you can file your own handnails. Men aren't going to notice the difference.
Pedicure - You don't need a pedicure and you don't need to file your toenails. First, men aren't going to be looking at your toes and second, in a formal outfit your toes wouldn't be visible anyways.
Exfoliate - Men liked women before the invention of exfoliation products and men would still like women if they didn't exfoliate.
Dye - You do NOT need to dye your hair, period. Men don't understand why women are always changing their hair color and they certainly don't require them to do it. No woman ever dyed her hair because a man asked her to. Women dye their hair because they're immature and childish and they want to impress their girlfriends. You can cut that crap out any day you like and no man will ever say one negative word about it. Again, hair dye has only been around for a few decades. And dyed hair looks fake and unnatural.
Cut - You have to cut your hair? Guess what: so do men. No difference between the sexes here.
Curl - You don't need to curl anything. This is yet another female habit which men find completely unnecessary and mystifying. If you have naturally straight hair, then so be it. Naturally curly, so be it. There is no need to change from one to the other, any more than is a need for men to curl or straighten their own hair. Once again, women somehow survived for thousands of years before the invention of hair curlers and men still found them attractive. Women don't curl their hair for men, they curl their hair for other women.
Style - Yes, women style their hair. So do men. If women spend more time on this than men it's because they're dumb. Spend less time, worry less about your hair because men don't care.
Shave - All you really need to shave are your pubes, pits and legs, and the last two are debatable. Most men need to shave their face and neck almost every day in order to look clean-shaven. There's no comparison here. Men have it MUCH harder than women in this area.
Tweeze - This isn't that hard. Really, what are you going to tweeze besides your eyebrows? You only have to do this once and it's done. If you overtweeze your eyebrows like many women do, you're an idiot. Plus, men often need to tweeze their eyebrows as well.
In summary, you're wrong, point-by-point.
All of your so-called "problems" are self-created, woman.
The reason why you have problems in the first place is because you dress up not to impress men, but to impress other women. Men don't want to see Prada, Gucci and $150 haircuts. All they want a nice pussy, ass and mouth to stick their dicks in.
Good to know. I'll keep this in mind when trying to impress my lady. Spiffed and polished, you say. Thanks hub veteran. You show us newbies the way without even realizing it (or maybe you do). Happy holidays.
I love my suits ( I have six - casual, for work, a summer one , a light travel one, a nice black one and a Tux for charity balls and social occasions )- It is great to know women approve. I like a smart look ( depending on the occasion) a suit makes me feel confident and comfortable in my own skin!Cheers!
Interesting hub brings interesting comments! Every man should have at lest one suit. It's good to know that it has the same effect as the lingerie! Maybe I will wear my suits more often!
